Due to current supply constraints for the new RSV prophylaxis agent Beyfortus (nirsevimab), the MO HealthNet Division (MHD) will allow up to five doses of Synagis (palivizumab) for the 2023 – 2024 RSV season. Participants who meet the clinical edit requirements, including age restrictions, may receive approval for up to five doses to start the 2023 - 2024 RSV season, depending on the requested date for the initial prior authorization.

The MO HealthNet Division (MHD) has been busy updating the Provider Manuals. Effective today, all of the new provider manuals will be housed on the MHD website.

The MO HealthNet Division (MHD) and the managed care health plans are collaborating on a project to educate and inform providers and participants/members on benefits and opportunities available to them during and after their pregnancy. Please take a quick five minute Maternal and Infant Health Engagement Survey to help us collect data to improve policies, payment methodologies and most importantly outcomes for pregnant and postpartum women and infants.
MHD Education and Training has posted the 1st quarter 2023 Provider Training Schedule. These trainings can also be found on the Provider Training Calendar located on the Education and Training Resources page. This quarter we are not only offering MHD Provider Training, but also training presented by Relias.
MHD Education and Training has added a new resource to explain Care Management in Managed Care. Care Management focuses on improved health outcomes and the overarching member experience.
