What does MO HealthNet Cover?
MO HealthNet covers a wide variety of services to eligible, pregnant participants. Coverage is available for full Medicaid benefits for the duration of the pregnancy and for one year following the end of the pregnancy.
Benefits include:

- STD testing and treatment
- Pharmacy benefit
- Care management
- Dental services
- Home Visiting Referrals
- Preventive care
- Prenatal care (including ultrasounds, delivery)
- Postnatal care (including breastfeeding support)
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Behavioral health services
- Vision services
- Hearing aids and testing
- Diabetes treatment & self-management
- Podiatry (foot care) services
- Physical therapy
Do I get extra benefits from my health plan?
Pregnant Women who have a Managed Care Health Plan receive extra benefits from their health plan. All the health plans offer these benefits:
Meals for Mom
Healthy meals are provided and delivered for pregnant and new mothers.
Transportation
Help is available to arrange rides to and from medical and prenatal appointments.
Care Management
Personalized guidance from care coordinators to navigate health care services.
Incentives
Rewards and health incentives for attending important prenatal and postpartum checkups.
Doula Services
Physical, emotional, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and birth.
Breast Pumps
Electric or manual breast pumps are provided to support breastfeeding mothers.
Dental Services
Coverage includes cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, root canals and extractions.
How do I get the extra benefits?
In order to claim the extra benefits, let MO HealthNet know that you are pregnant as soon as possible. To report a pregnancy, participants can reach out to the Family Support Division Info Line at 855-373-4636, visit their local Resource Center or they can submit information through the Report A Change online form.

What if I have a Fee-For-Service health plan?
