What does MO HealthNet Cover?
MO HealthNet covers a wide variety of services to eligible, pregnant participants. Coverage is available for full Medicaid benefits for the duration of the pregnancy and for one year following the end of the pregnancy.
Benefits include:
- Family planning
- STD testing and treatment
- Pharmacy benefit
- Care management
- Dental services
- Preventive care
- Prenatal care (including ultrasounds, delivery)
- Postnatal care (including breastfeeding support)
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Behavioral health services
- Vision services
- Hearing aids and testing
- Diabetes treatment & self-management
- Podiatry (foot care) services
- Physical therapy
Do I get extra benefits from my health plan?
Pregnant Women who have a Managed Care Health Plan receive extra benefits from their health plan. All the health plans offer these benefits:
- Meals for mom delivers meals to mom during or after pregnancy
- Incentives reward your healthy actions
- Transportation to appointments, food pantries, & pharmacy
- Doula services provide emotional support before, during, and after delivery
- Care management explains benefits and answers questions
- Baby showers to stock up on diapers & supplies.

What if I have a Fee-For-Service health plan?
