Updated MO HealthNet Dental Manual & Webinar


The MO HealthNet Division (MHD) has updated the Dental Manual. These updates include: 

  • Coverage of Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes D9222 and D9223; refer to Bulletin 47-43 for more information
  • Annual CDT updates for 2024 and 2025
  • Coverage of periodic oral examinations (D0120) for participants 21 and older
  • Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) (D1354) coverage for participants 20 years of age and younger, and participants in a category of assistance for pregnant women, blind, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) residents
  • Removal of reimbursement rates in Section 5. Current reimbursement rates can be found on the Fee Schedule
