The Missouri Perinatal Quality Collaborative is offering a couple of exciting training opportunities for providers on maternal and infant health.
- Count the Kicks is an evidence-based public health campaign that teaches expectant parents the method for and importance of counting their baby's kicks daily in the third trimester of pregnancy. Providers are invited to attend a FREE 60-minute webinar on June 7th at Noon CST to learn more about the importance of educating on fetal movement monitoring in the third trimester and how to implement Count the Kicks in your setting. - Think It Through Thursdays is an eight-part services of trainings and workshops focusing on maternal-infant equity-centered, trauma-informed care along with baseline assessment of trauma informed behavior and attitudes. This series is a maternal-infant collaboration between Alive & Well Communities and Missouri Hospital Association. This training is open to all providers and encouraged for unit and clinic-based teams. There will be a total of 8 sessions with live facilitation. 4 EC-TIC trainings and 4 application sessions with worksheets and documents.
