Beginning November 1, 2024, MO HealthNet enrolled obstetric care, primary care, and emergency care providers began utilizing the new NOP and Risk Screening Portal to notify MHD and the Managed Care health plans of a participant’s pregnancy. This has allowed for significant increases in contact rates between the health plans and their members, which translates to more support for those members. The health plans are able to conduct outreach faster and communicate to providers more when members are high risk, setting the stage for improved outcomes.
