Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Program Invoice of Cost (IOC) Requirement
MO HealthNet has recently experienced an increase in DME claims being submitted without the required IOC for manually priced codes, which results in claim delays or denials. To ensure timely processing and reimbursement, always include the IOC with claim submissions when the IOC is required.
For codes that require an IOC, refer to Section 5 of the DME Manual.
